Original WheelsOur search for the perfect complete has once again lead us to develop another standout, stand alone product. Over the past 3 years we have been working with (what many consider) the best urethane manufacturer in the world to be sure our wheels step up to the level of our decks and trucks.

For 2006 the focus remains on speed and grip, with the addition of one mid ranged sliding wheel. As always we continue to pour wide contact patches, increased wheel contact with the road means more traction and less slip. Add to that our consistent use of high urethane volume, less hub means more flex in the wheel, again adding to grip, and you have a wheel that keeps your longboard glued to the road.

This added grip is almost a necessity when loading or S-Series 150, 200 or 250mm trucks as the decreased turning radius will cause many boards to slide out without proper balance on the wheel grip side of things.

If you want to skate with all the power you carry through your carves surfing or snowboarding, you need grip.



Bolt 70mm Longboard Wheels

Bolt Wheels: 70mm x 78aThe Original Bolt 70mm longboard skateboard wheels were deisgned for two things; speed and grip. With more surface area than any of our other longboard wheels, and more urethane to boot, the bolt longboard skateboard wheels will hold you tight even through the most gnarly bomb sections.

Because of the large amount of urethane used in the construction of the Bolt, the wheel will 'roll' more through the turns generating the most grip and smoothest ride. If you want to stick your turns, or have a little bit of a bumpy surface to ride on, the Bolt is a great choice for your longboard skateboards.

The Bolt is loaded onto most of our high-end performance longboard skateboards and is the choice of many a surf style rider. The Bolt runs at 78a duro and is a house favorite here at Original Skateboards.
 
Breeze 65mm Longboard Wheels
Breeze Wheels: 65mm x 78aThe Breeze 65mm longboard wheels are another one of our line of all around longboard skateboard wheels. Geared for a little bit more grip than the Bubble longboard wheels, the Breeze holds its own on steeper terrain.

With grip in mind, the breeze longboard wheel is harder to break free than either the bubble or the flame and makes a great wheel for beginners (by keeping the back trucks from sliding out). The breeze longboard wheel comes standard on many of our carve oriented longboard skateboard completes.

The Breeze runs at 78a Duro and is designed as a general all purpose longboard wheel, similar to the bubble, but with more grip than slip.
 
Bubble 65mm Longboard Wheels

Bubble Wheels: 65mm x 82aThe Bubble 65mm longboard skateboard wheel is a staple here at Original. Designed as an all around cruisier the bubble longboard wheels excel at getting you from point A. to point B. as quickly as possible.

The bubble longboard wheels are slightly softer than the more agressive Flame 60mm longboard wheels but still have enough hardness to let you break your wheels free on the most powerful carves. While the bubble longboard wheels may not be optimum for slide specific riding, it brings a slip-when-you-want it riding style to the table.

The Bubble longboard wheels run at 82a Duro and is designed as a general all purpose wheel with accent on contact area and overall durability.
 
Flame 60mm Longboard Wheels

Flame Wheels: 60mm x 85aThe Original Flame 60mm longboard wheels were designed as an all around park / street wheel. Certainly on the agressive side of longboard skateboards, the Flame carries over an oldschool profile, with a large contact area.

Harder than the other longboard wheels we make, the Flame longboard wheel is our best sliding wheel, although it still tends to be higher on the grip scale than some of its counter parts made elsewhere (to accomodate the grip requirements of our longboard trucks).

The 60mm flames run at 85a Duro and will carry your carves in the park, the bowl or the street. The flames will loosen up the tail of your longboard skateboard, so if you ride with power, these wheels can and WILL slip when you really bite into your turns.
