H-Vlam longboard freedom.
We combine 8 stringers hardwood mahogany with light aspen fill to create the Ultra light longboard core of the Custom 35. From there we sandwich two layers of Canadian maple on the top and bottom of that core and then press the longboard into shape with two layers of bi-axial fiberglass (top and bottom). Not only does this Hybrid construction increase the strength of the Custom 35 longboard but it also allows our riders the freedom to choose the flex right for them. The Custom 35 is currently available in Flyweight, Middleweight and Cruiserweight.
Fiberglass for flex.
The bi-axial fiberglass we use in the Custom 35 longboard holds the boards shape and generates the flex that gives the Custom 35 its personality. Performance is key but the pre-impregnated bi-ax fiberglass is also easier on the environment than it's traditional tri-axial epoxy cousin.
Tip to tail.
The Custom 35 is built for performance from tip to tail. While flexible for your deepest carves, the stringer layout keeps the tail of the Custom 35 is stiffer to give you control over your deck in the freestyle longboarding arena. Add some tricks to your bag with a full length longboard that's ready for anything.
